Sono appena tornata a casa, il fine settimana è passato in perfetta armonia, tra gli olivi, il mare e la calma di uno dei tanti paesi persi lungo la costa ionica della Calabria insieme ad una sempre accogliente nuova parentela.E’ stata anche l’occasione per iniziare a sperimentare il mio regalo di compleanno, una magnifica macchina fotografica, ma devo ancora imparare molte cose, il salto da una compatta di dieci anni fa ad una Nikon D3000 è veramente mastodontico.
Io adoro il mare, in qualsiasi stagione, mi basta anche solo camminare lungo la spiaggia deserta, ascoltare il rumore delle onde...basta poco per sentirsi a casa….

To feel at home.
I’ve just come back home, the week end passed in perfect harmony among the olive trees, the sea and the calm in one of the many town that you find along the Ionic coast of Calabria together with an always welcoming “new family”.
It was also an opportunity to start trying out my new birthday gift – a magnificent camera – but I had to learn a lot of things, there is a gigantic difference between my old one (10 years old) and the new Nikon D3000.
I love the sea in every season. Walking around the deserted beach listening the sound of the waves is already enough.
I don’t need anything else. It takes little to make me feel at home.
